Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ???

"When you acquire, install and use the Program, Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks," the privacy policy states. "Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage."

“If you open a file, we may collect information about the file, the application used to open the file, and how long it takes any use [of] it for purposes such as improving performance, or [if you] enter text, we may collect typed characters, we may collect typed characters and use them for purposes such as improving autocomplete and spell check features,” the privacy policy states.

I mean am i really safe using windows 10 technical preview. Microsoft can get to my email address,my password,my ATM card information,My browsers history,my surf logs and other details.I don't want Microsoft to know what am i doing over internet. They can get to any private information of my as i type it over the keyboard.  I don't feel secure using windows 10 anymore. They don't have the right to know somebodies personal stuff.  I don't want Microsoft to watch my each and every move. Is not really an inhuman approach of interfering with someones personal data and information and their privacy?

I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO TRACK MY INTERNET ACTIVITY AS THAT IS WHAT WE USE ON DAILY BASIS AND DON'T WANT OTHERS TO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING OVER THE INTERNET. THEY CAN COLLECT ANY OTHER INFORMATION AS THEY WANT TO DEVELOP THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS. I AM STILL USING WINDOWS 10 TECHNICAL PREVIEW BECAUSE IT IS JUST GREAT TO USE AN OPERATING SYSTEM THAT IS A COMBINATION OF WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS 8.JUST RESPECT SOMEBODIES PRIVACY.THAT'S ALL.

    How We Collect Data Part of windows 10 statement, I stress YOU MAY in all statements

    You may provide information, such as your name and email address, to Microsoft for a specific purpose, such as a request for support. We also use a number of methods and technologies to gather data, such as:

    • Web-enabled features in the Program that transmit information to Microsoft; and
    • Technologies like cookies and web beacons. Microsoft may use cookies (small text files placed on a device’s hard disk by a web service) or similar technologies to provide the Program. For example, cookies may be used to store a user’s preferences and settings, to gather Experience Data, to authenticate a user, or to detect fraud.

    This is information you already have given MS, when you install windows 10 or metro app, we have a choice.. This enables programmers to develop better software.

    I do not see the problem, most of the world used google/apple/facebook/clouds. They all collect private Information to improve its software. The positive note we made the choice to install and read the privacy statement of software we install. WE made the choice. why complain now?.

    I recommend REMOVING Windows 10 Preview from your PC.

    Wait until after it's public release before installing.  After that, you'll be relatively safe because it's illegal for any company to collect that type of personal information from MINORS (hint hint hint).

    If you consent as an adult for Microsoft to collect that information, then shame on you.  There are other OS'es out that don't collect personal info.

    If you have legal concerns, contact an attorney.

    So far as I can see, most of our data is out there somewhere what with MS, Amazon, Google and others. The US intelligence agencies are all tapped into the Internet and the UK agencies are too. Hopes of privacy are a little forlorn unless one gives up- on the Internet and mobile phones. So I can't see much of a deal with Microsoft spending a fortune on servers to process all this data we are sending, voluntarily, to them to allow them to improve Windows 10 to a final product.

    As has been said, no one has to do this and no one has to do this on the main machine they use - even Microsoft don't advise this. So put Windows 10 on a separate machine and do your usual things on another machine ans no problem ... apart from the everyone else who gets hold of your data.
