By default it was set to size=1 in my case and I never changed it.
With size=1 I don't have that issue, neither with other sizes except the ones I mentioned (3, 7, 11, 15).

Anybody getting this weird cursor in a black square instead of the normal one? See the 2 pictures below to compare. Second one is the normal one.
Had to take pictures because the cursor does not show with snipping tool.
This showed up in one machine and I don't see any way to change it.
Pretty annoying. 😝😵💫
Bad cursor:
Normal cursor should look like this below:

I did not change any size; It is the same settings that was always there. It only fails that way with 26080 build and none of the other builds.
I can check if any of those settings are different.
I don't understand how you got the black square around the Text Select icon?
My size was always set for 3, but never had the black square around the cursor. 🤷♂️
I think that cursor is called Text Select, but I don't see any setting to change it.
I got this problem only on one machine for now. With Both Canary and Dev Builds 26080.1 and 26080.1100.
I don't know what the difference can be the cause for this issue.
Looks like the icon lost the transparency around the cursor and it is filled with black. 😎🤷♂️
No, not on my PC with the new Dev-Build.
But it is somehow reproducible when you increase the cursor size in "ms-settings:easeofaccess-mousepointer" to 3, 7, 11 or 15 (all other sizes behave as expected)
At least the black background, but not the thickness.
