ISO file size discussion

Here is one difference on the same machine updated from 22579.100 to 22581.1 with W.U. versus the same update/upgrade with ISO made from SoftwareDistribution after W.U. with 22581:

The one updated with W.U. shows the correct level of SecHealthUI at 22581, the one that was updated with Home made ISO still shows the old one from 22579.

It can still open security with the old level App, but that is not the only issue.

The machine that was updated with ISO also has the W.U. loop with the error we have seen previously 0Xc1900401, that even if the update/upgrade with ISO was done online letting it check for updates.

I still had to do all the updates with W.U. to get the PCs to work correctly, a bunch of downloads of the same damn updates.. 😜

We need an official script from MS or a weekly official ISO.

The guys that are preparing those scripts will figure it out eventually.

Now with this problem I have to download the same W.U. on every damn box, that may take me over the monthly data allowance and may have to pay extra for the GBs over the limit.

Why do you have to update every machine via Windows Update?

Can't you just download the MS ISO once and update in-place until we get a fix?
