Rewards saying oops looks like you're on the go, but I'm not.

I contacted them about the same issue, glad to know I'm not alone, but makes it more frustrating at the same time.

They basically said that the reason it's happening is because I'm using my account outside the recommended guidelines, I should stop doing that if I want my account to be unrestricted, and that they're closing the query and I won't be able to open another one regarding the same issue.

So, in short, they blamed me and won't help any further. Nice one microsoft.

The glitch is happening again and i cant get any points and im so close to a 10$ gift card for xbox

I'm having the same issue are you. i even asked where i earned my points and i was told all my points was earned in the uk. i have NEVER used a vpn or owned one. This is the lasted email i have.

I'm yet to be told when and which country i supposedly violated their policy. nearly 5 weeks I've been trying to resolve this issue

As of about 1PM Central time today, Earning rewards is working for both my wife & I on the phone & laptop. I don't think that I did anything to get this working, i.e. support cases were created but no resolution was indicated/occurred from those. Redeeming was working before & is still working. We had been out since June 15.

Here's hoping other people get their Rewards account working again!

Same problem (in Australia). It has to be related to the Read News For Points activity. I had this happen and my 408 day streak broken last month by this and again yesterday with a 26 day streak and unable to earn points or do my daily activities because it thinks I’m on the go.

Only common factor is the Read News For Points activity. Which I did first.

If you see that activity- DO NOT touch it.

I’ve raised it with Microsoft Support. Last time they said it would be fixed as a goodwill gesture. It wasn’t. They put me on 12 day streak and awarded me 135 points. Whoopee. Now it’s happened again and no answer. I want my 408 days back. No l, make it 434 day streak now!
