Just installed brand new Edge browser on my mac. Tried out Bing for the first time but is keeps responding with the message "You've reached the conversation limit for today. Sign in to continue your chat" although I’m already signed in. Haven't got the chance to try it even once.

tried changing accounts, create a new one - still the same response.

Can I fix it?

I had this as well, brand new MS Edge install on macOS. Ended up visiting The New Bing - Learn More which told me to go to my profile and set my birthdate and country. It worked after that. Hope it helps you too!

    It solved for me

It looks like you're trying to make use of Bing's new AI chat mode.

There's not a lot to go on, and diagnosing the issue would require more information than you've provided. 🤔

You've tried a lot of things, but none of them relate to the root cause.

    • Are you using a profile with Edge?
    • If you are using a new account, have you verified the account credentials yet?
    • Are you accessing Bing from a workplace that may have IT policies that block AI communication?
    • Are you using any browser extensions that might interfere with Bing AI?

I suggest you try connecting to Bing AI on your mobile data, or from another internet connection, log into your profile in the browser and signing into Bing.com - this could determine if your internet connection or the 4 computers have configurations preventing communication with Bing AI.

Please be cautious about deleting cookies or unnecessarily changing your account details, this can have unintended consequences. 😮

In my case, I opted out of MS rewards. But even if I opt in again, still getting same errors.

    So far I tried :

    -Clear all cookies

    • reset edge settings
    • opt in again to rewards,
    • change my name, birth date, region in MS account

NOTHING WORKS. Still same stupid errors on 4 different computers.

It is obviously a problem on the account side, but there is no way to escalate the problem at Microsoft. Customer support is just non existent

Hey, are you suspended from Microsoft Rewards? It seems that for some ridiculous reason, your MS Rewards and Bing AI Chat are linked (probably because they're both under the "Bing" umbrella), so if you're suspended on MS Rewards, then you will keep getting errors when trying to use Bing AI Chat.
