I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    Why does it tell me that my number is invalid when I try to add it when it is literally my real number .I even tried with my other phones

    Then i add my phone number to my Microsoft account i cant access the verification code how can i get code
