I have access to the new Bing but cannot use the chat function in Bing on Edge

I joined the waitlist about 10 days ago and got access a few days ago. However, when I attempt to use Bing chat in Edge, it always pops up a screen and tells me that "Chat mode is only available when you have access to the new Bing." I have signed in with the account to which the access has been granted. How do I resolve the issue?

    hi, I hope this answers your question, have you updated edge to the latest version? this should fix it, being a person who had this issue.

    I think you can't access the AI chat because your computer/laptop is set to strict mode. I would recommend to check your settings and refresh the app to see if it works because I have the same problem.

    Ensure:

    1. DOB on your Microsoft Account is incorrect.
    2. You are in an unsupported area like HK/China.

    Thankfully , after signing out from the incorrect account, problem is solved.
