Why am I getting "Oops! Looks like you're on the go" in Microsoft Rewards?

So I'm just trying to complete my daily rewards, and I get this message. I use a VPN so I don't know if that's the problem, but I need to use a VPN because Czechia gets literally 1 daily reward A MONTH!!! And the message also sometimes pops up when I'm not using a VPN. So can someone help me get rid of the message? If not, then at least add daily rewards for Czechia daily and not monthly.

I'm getting the same thing today. I'm on the same network I always use, but both my Xbox and online show the "on the go" message and I can't get any rewards. I checked my account security, and there are lots of unsuccessful sign-in attempts that have been ongoing for a long time, but otherwise nothing out of the ordinary.

Unlinked my work and private account and haven’t had the problem since. Did lose a 160 day streak in the process though so know how you feel! Pretty sure mine was caused via the VPN the work account can auto load whether that’s via laptop or or on the phone.

Has this been fixed yet? I am getting the same error on my desktop & my phone network so not using VPN, not travelling, nothing different from any other day. I am currently 40 days streak and it will be really s****t if I break this streak because it does not work today.

Mine also just started working randomly. Would really appreciate a recovery of all my lost points because of this.

EDIT : Disregard that. I tried the wheel again. Got a bunch of 0s and then got 500 pts again. Guess what? Getting the "Ooops..." message again! The wheel is broken guys. Look into it!

    Hello again,

I have set the following points in the Windows 11 data protection settings for the location settings.

    1. Disabled: Allow overriding
    2. Clear: Location history
    3. Saved: Set my default location via Maps app
    4. Cleared: Browser cache

The next day everything was working again.

Maybe that's the solution for you too and the rewards error display with "Oops..." will disappear again.

I did 1 and 3 yesterday, and, weidly enough, it seems to be back to normal today. After the 25th, I could still earn points but not use them until now. Could also be just a coincidence - it's also been one week since I began getting the message, so it could just be the "ban" expiring.

Glad it's not permanent, but still concerning since I'm not using a VPN. Don't know what triggered the ban, either the wheel, or the website getting my location wrong, but it definitely should be looked into...
