    HERE WE GO AGAIN!

After a few weeks of everything going fine but now every receipt is declined including McDonald’s (3 receipts), Walmart (5 receipts), CVS, my local coffee shop, which usually are accepted, but the last three have not.

After two months of not hearing from Microsoft support team, I got an email yesterday and was on how to transfer your money to PayPal. 🤣

Not even addressing the issue of receipts being declined.

So probably the last time I will reply to ask why our receipts are being declined and why there is not an explanation.

I need two more receipts out of six to be scanned/accepted (awaiting for 1 to be probably be declined as I type 🙄) and I think I will stop doing this craziness and the headache of declined receipts that were accepted in the past and for waiting weeks, if not months for the standard run around reply from the worthless Microsoft Support.

Same issue for a good week of all 6 being declined all at once… then I decided to waited a few more days before I would scan only 1 receipt and wait the 30 minutes for it to be accepted.

I now only scan one receipt and wait the approximately 30 minutes for it to be accepted with a checkmark before i scan the second.

Then I’ll scan just one receipt and wait the 30 minutes until that is accepted too and so on.

You can only scan 6 receipts in a cycle so why rush it. Seems like a new cycle starts at 8pm est. I’m in Ohio.

I’m afraid to start scanning 6 receipts all at once again for fear they all will be declined like in the past.

So far so good for me being patient.

Microsoft Support is awful. Could be weeks before a reply that doesn’t help resolve anything.

Unfortunately, in a lot of people’s situation with the declines, it still takes them into the system and when we attempt to rescan them, they come back as a duplicate receipt. At that point there’s no shot at ever getting credit for them.

The program has always had its issues, but lately it seems to have really **** the bed in terms of flexibility.

I’ve just given up and started using other receipt programs at the same time. If it gets rejected on Microsoft’s at least I’m still able to get credit on the other 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure if you ever found out, but try this:

I’m not a fan of the “Independent Advisors” who come on these posts and 99% of the time give useless info or don’t even understand the issue. I think they get some kind of credit for pretending to help.

Anyway, once you submit a support request, let us know the outcome once you hear back.

I wish it was an easy process. They hide customer service (human) behind many layers of auto generated "customer service" answers.

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe I started at the Microsoft Rewards Q&A page and finally pissed the AI off to a point they started the service ticket.
