Microsoft Rewards not giving points for PC search or Edge Bonus as advertised.

It seems like Microsoft is way scaling back he potential rewards points.

Over the last few months:

1. No more 100 point weekly xbox treasures
2. Xbox monthly quest went from 2500 to 1000 points
3. Xbox achievements went from 50 to 5 points
4. No more edge bonus use of 20 points
5. Puzzle? gone its seems
6. This is a killer - it seems you need to open a new search tab in order to accumulate 5 points per search to get to 150 - it stops tabulating after one or two searches in same window / tab
7. and a few others, I'm sure

Probably a drop in the proverbial budget bucket to give out all these rewards and its usefulness to get folks using xbox / edge / etc is reaching an end...?

Microsoft is notorious for simply ending things without notice - windows phone - microsoft band - surface duo - I'm used to it (owned all of those) but this little perk of rewards points going away? Might be switching to Chrome out of spite

for me personally, over a couple days last week, while it wasn't recording, I was still getting the points ( I record them in an excel just to see trends, and I got what I expected). That said, as of today, it does look as though they've removed the 12 point Edge bonus, wiping out about 336 more points a month.

Along with the rumored loss of the Xbox Rewards app, points keep disapearing, and I get it, business decisions and all, but I just wish Microsoft was more transparent about it, but i know that's asking a lont....

I have been having issues with the Microsoft rewards search not showing activities being completed, even though i did them. I dont know what happened to 1000 point puzzle. My level 2 , 20 points no longer shows as of today. The E-Tree tool from Start has reset back to 1 day even though I have done it daily. On Mobile, I show one set of level and streaks, on E-Tree. On the Start section I show a much lower set due to resets. On the Sidebar, E-Tree was showing a third set of data but now is equal to the Start , but shows a different streak.

Something has been wrong for at least three weeks and my notifications to Rewards Support have been for nothing. No remedies except email replies stating received my notice and they're sorry. then immediately after that, an email stating that case is closed. I have requested Support staff contact me several times to chat about my problems but that fell on deaf ears.

In Canada, not including purchases, at the begining of the year I was making 15K, and it was slowly eroding to this month where I made 12K. At this point, I'm expecting just over 10K by the end of december, again not including purchases.

And as of today for me, when doing searches, you have to wait for 5-10 seconds between searches on both mobile and desktop, so more blasting through searches :(.

I mean, it sucks, but like said above, and others have said, it's really lack of transparency on MS's part that's really the worse :(.
