My confirm reward button doesnt work on microsoft reward how do i fix it?

I have had the same problem and been "begging" for help since January 2024 and now April 26 2024. It is annoying that Microsoft thinks everyone has a cell phone. I was borrowing and it worked fine, but friend stopped using cell through the winter. Several support people told me a landline would work--NOPE! (and it is NOT a VoiP). Finally, my friend got his cell phone back up to prepare for the spring/summer traveling he does. Same number as before. I can get the code on the phone and insert where code is asked for and get either. . . "this is not working right now" or "try a different approach"--things like that.

First of all, it is very, very unprofessional for Microsoft to expect that everyone has a cell phone and expect us to ask to borrow someone else's; then find it doesn't work. I have now been trying for over 1-12 weeks, every other day, thinking it feels overloaded. NADA

And, it is embarrassing to have to keep asking to borrow my friend's phone. Other sites don't give this much hassle and within seconds of redeeming, the eCards for Amazon are in the email address.

I feel like I am begging for a duly earned reward and being on a fixed income, this little extra reward is very important for some tiny 'little extras."

I am at a total loss. I have been given a page of steps back in Feb with the guy adamant that a Landline would work--NO it didn't, nor did it work with several others trying to tell me a landline will work. Now, that I am able to borrow someone's cell phone (that used to work easily to redeem), gets me the code on the phone to input where requested to verify, and I get told the code doesn't work. When I saw the code come in on the phone and was able to insert to verify, I thought (hoped) I would be successful.

A few times I have even questioned if I need to contact the Better Business Bureau to get results, since they take forever to respond to a support ticket. Did that yesterday and had a response with a different list of directions to try, for which NONE worked. If none work there is a list of reasons why the phone number may be invalid... NONE of those on the list are relevant (and again this cell phone and number has always worked in the past. . .feels like more excuses to me(?)---

In Jan I had enough points to redeem $5, now I am at $10 and very close to $15. I am at a total loss and thoroughly disgusted with microsoft and their support people. A month ago, someone got back to me, claimed willing to help, and asked for my phone number--NEVER heard back.

I have a solution, it worked for me anyway.

It wouldn't work on the Bing browser, so I used another browser, Brave Browser in my case, and it worked, I could click it again. Try using another browser, hope this helps. :)
