Why am I not getting rewards points for searches anymore?

Yesterday my searches stopped counting after 90 points and today nothing has counted. Not for PC or mobile. Why aren't searches counting anymore. I'm ready to cancel Game Pass Ultimate, uninstall Edge, and change my default search engine away from Bing.

Well, right now, the report shows I've accrued 150 points for PC searches, but the total displayed on the Bing search page is only 135 points more than I started with.

    Microsoft: THIS IS MESSED UP!

I noticed the exact same change. I work in IT and have for 30 years. Clearing a browser's cache is not the solution.

I am on a 206-day streak at the moment, and I have been missing out on 200 points per day because of the Bing searches not rewarding beyond 20 points. I typically could collect all of the rewards possible per day within 3 minutes.

Today, I ran across an article that states Microsoft has changed the rewards system when it comes to Bing Searches. Three searches can earn points per every 15 minutes.

Here is the link to the article. It's disappointing that it has come to this.

The program seems to have reverted back to its former self (knocking on wood).

I agree with another commenter on this forum that it looks like Microsoft was crippling the Rewards program during the holiday season, and now that it's over, things are going back to how they were. I'm still not 100% confident in this change, however.

Same (no points recorded for PC searches today), except I think I actually did get the PC search points, as I saw the count going up a couple of times, while I was searching, although the points display shows 0. Tomorrow, I will take note of the count before and after! Mobile search points are recording. Both types of searches seem "hit or miss" on whether, or not, they are counted. Sometimes, I have to search 20 times for 100 points; other times, I have to search 30 times for 100 points. :-(
