I was doing my daily searches on my computer. I finished 30 searches, which means I should have 150 points. When I checked, I only got 35. I also discovered that Microsoft removed the Edge reward points. On my rewards page, there's no circle for edge. And on my phone, it says 0/0 for Edge. So is Microsoft trying to lower opportunities or is this just a bug? Or maybe this is because of spam searches? It is for everyone or just me. This really has me frustrated and I need answers.

I got an email with much of the same boilerplate, but NO explanation for why my searches were suddenly not working, AND they closed my case 10 seconds after they sent me the canned response. So I was still completely clueless. It was only when I found this page that I figured out exactly what did happen.
I'm having the same issue
Well, I don't think it was intended to benefit us exactly! I'm wondering, though: have you figured out if doing the Daily Set and the little 2 point More Activities reset the point-earning timer? Also, if you screw up and try to search too early, does that reset the timer? I'm figuring that they do, so I'm being cautious but I'm curious if anybody else has done a test on this.
I figured this out, too. And I'm asking myself WHY the Hell they think this would benefit the consumer in ANY way.
Same here they reduced the time on searching big time but why?
