Just replacing my SIM didn't help. Finally talked to a phone guy at Best Buy who tried putting his personal Verizon SiM into my phone. we could see the DUO 2 was on Verizon's network. then we popped my TMO SIM back into the DUO 2 and magic - phone calls worked. So somehow this updated their network to maybe recognize that my SIM was associated with a new device? anyway glad to have it working again and loving the DUO 2.
Surface Duo 2 on Tmobile can't make phone calls "server error"
My original Duo 1 worked great on tmobile. My new Duo 2 gets a "server error, please try again' whenever I try to make a phone call while connected to LTE or 5G. If I bump the preferred service down to 3G then phone calls work fine.
Is anyone else using a Duo 2 on tmobile in the US? Any similar issues?

2022-01-27T03:52:29+00:00 I meant the phone won't activate on the network. They are getting foreign android device. I called t-mobile cust care by chance someone ran into this already. I read Imei # and said no you can't bring it on to the network. Tomorrow I will visit Att see if they take phone and port my number over.
