I have run all my updates and am now running Windows 10 Version 2004... I think they solved it......
Im running the update that just game out Wibdows 10 20H and still not fixed.

Hello,
I recently just purchased a Surface Laptop 3 15" AMD/8GB RAM a couple of days ago, and have noticed this issue since I've started using it.
Whenever a video is played either on Twitch, YouTube, Netflix, etc. after about a minute the audio will proceed to get further ahead of the video causing a horrible desync. I've used Chrome, Firefox, and Edge all to no avail.
I've tried updating the drivers on the laptop through the Microsoft site with the MSI installer, but that didn't work. I also tried to change the Realtek driver to the standard high definition driver but then the sound wouldn't even play so I had to revert that. I'm assuming that this is an issue either with the graphics not having updated drivers or the audio driver not being updated. I can't find updates for either of these drivers.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

2020-11-20T04:24:36+00:00 Has anyone fixed this issue? I did not discover it as I wasn't doing a lot of videos when i first bought the laptop, but this is absurd. It wasnt a cheap laptop and if Microsoft doesn't fix it, I would think we have a class action lawsuit on our hands.

I do have the same issue on a Surface Laptop 3 AMD Ryzen 5 bought last year on release date.
One thing to notice:
Back on the release date, no issue. It only started to happen after about 1 month of daily use of the laptop.
A month ago, I reset the PC. Works perfectly! Until about a month ago... It happens again... I think it might be following a driver update from September 2nd, but I can be wrong.
Additional note:
It happens with and without a Bluetooth headset (Sony mx 1000xm2). It happens in MS Edge (Chromium), Windows Movie Player and Movie & TV app.
Pausing the movie and pressing Play again sync up the image and sound again, but it progressively becomes out of sync again.
It happens on both, Surface Laptop monitor, and external monitor. Both are on 60Hz.

I read some replies that if you connect a USB headset or an audio jack, it fixes the delay. Unfortunately, I tried to listen to audio with my headphones and there is still a delay. Is anyone else having problems even with headphones connected?
