Surface Book Battery Life - what are you getting

Hi everyone,

I am not doing anything to intensive with my Surface Book.  Web, email, onenote, outlook.  I am not getting anything near 12 hours of battery life and 4 if i am lucky.

Right now it says I have 33% battery life and have an 1 hour and 26 minutes remaining??

What are you getting?

    Same thing here, sometimes not even 3 hours. Same exact model as yours. Unacceptable.

    I'm getting great battery life just enabling hibernation and disabling sleep. I don't know why people are afraid to do that. Booting up from hibernation takes just as much time for me to wake from sleep, and I have Windows hello enabled, too. Getting 7-8 hrs daily use.

    Well, there isn't exactly fear involved. ;-)  I was just somewhat reluctant to incur the extra SSD activity, but heck, today's SSD's are designed to last a lot longer than I will probably have my SB.  I'm sure I'll have to have the next version of the Surface Book.

    So, I have turned off sleep and turned on hibernate.  Yes, it works just fine.  I do have to touch the power button though, unlike sleep where all you need to do is open the book, and BAM, you are exactly where you were when you closed the lid.  I still look forward to getting this fixed.

    I don't even hold down the power button I just close the lid, doesn't it still go into hibernation that way?
