Surface Pro 2017 turning off or hibernating randomly!!!

For some reason my new Surface is shutting off randomly. I check the setting and a few other things but it's still randomly turns off without warning. I'm losing some of my school work because of it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hey Everyone,

As of 7/14, the fix for this issue has completed testing and is now live, please go update your Surface Pro via Windows Update to get the latest download. You can obtain this fix by checking Settings> Update & security > Windows Update

The Surface Pro Update History page has been updated with the details of this release and the update is also available on the Surface Pro Drivers and Firmware page as part of the MSI installation package available for download.

    I returned my device and today I received a new one with latest windows 10 updates and no overheating issues :-)

    The thread is getting long and some important information have been lost in this.

    Someone said previously the same info.

    To all the people that have the problem, please download and install MANUALLY the latest drivers pack from this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=55484

    This is for the surface pro. Do not rely on windows updates.

    It solved my problem since then back in January.

    Exactly the same situation with me. I have run all updates. 

    I'm suspecting it's a hardware problem

    Got the same problem with my brand new surface pro (2017) i7.

    I tried to reset my device and start from scratch without success. This is really annoying.

    I already installed latest firmware but the result is always the same. 

    BurnInTest result (100% cpu) screenshot attached.

    Temperature climbs in the first 3 minutes almost to 100 C° before the fan finally kicks in.
