Surface Pro 2017 turning off or hibernating randomly!!!

For some reason my new Surface is shutting off randomly. I check the setting and a few other things but it's still randomly turns off without warning. I'm losing some of my school work because of it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hey Everyone,

As of 7/14, the fix for this issue has completed testing and is now live, please go update your Surface Pro via Windows Update to get the latest download. You can obtain this fix by checking Settings> Update & security > Windows Update

The Surface Pro Update History page has been updated with the details of this release and the update is also available on the Surface Pro Drivers and Firmware page as part of the MSI installation package available for download.

    Just try SnakeJam ' method,it works for me so far without any random shut down for a day.

    Me solidarizo con todos vosotros, yo también tengo una superficie pro 2017, i5, 128gb, desde España, él decir que no tengo hibernación.

    Solo hay un caso con el cabello de la pantalla 0%, una vez que las ventanas, una pantalla de escritorio, una barra de hibernación, me toca el botón del inicio y ya me muestra el desktop.Solucion mia, cuando lo voy a Apagar Le pongo el brillo al25% y lo apago, de este modo, cuando vuelvo a arrancar de nuevo, ya no hiberna y me muestra el escritorio.

    Una vez que lo tengo arrancado y con el escritorio mostró, vuelva a poner el anillo al 0%, y ahorro de energía.

    I sympathize with all of you, I also have a Surface pro 2017, i5,128gb, from Spain, I say that I do not have hibernation. There is only one case with screen brightness at 0%, when windows start, the next second to show the desktop, hibernate, I have to press the start button and it shows me the desktop.My solution, when I go to Off I put the brightness to 25% and turn it off, this way, when I start up again, no longer hibernate and shows me the desktop. Once I have it started and with the desktop shown, put the brightness back to 0%, and save energy.

    Further to my previous post I have just installed the latest Intel Graphics driver and this appears to have resolved the problem.

    Not sure its the ideal solution but at least it points at the graphics driver being the issue.

    select driver zip version; extract zip

    goto: device manager/display adapters/Intel .... 620/update driver/browse my computer/let me pick/have disk

    select location of unzipped driver; then select *.inf file under 'Graphics' folder

    I updated the driver a few minutes after reading your post, but my SP hibernated again now, so it seems that the problem is not solved yet.

    I must say that after fully discharging and fully recharging (with SP switched off) the battery the number of hibernation events has decreased a lot for me, it happens after 1-2-3 hours and then it may work all right for hours again.

    But it still happens from time to time... and it has happened after updating the graphic driver.
