When I am sitting in my armchair and surfing the web it is "just" annoying, when my Surface Pro shuts down without any reason. When I am giving a Powerpoint presentation to 200 students and its shutting down, then it is really embarrassing. For Microsoft!
While I am restarting my Surface the class is making old and new jokes about Microsoft. And probably none of the students will buy a Surface.
Anyhow, further search of the web seems to proof that there is still no software solution to this problem. I would be very glad, if people from MS could teach me otherwise!
The only way to solve the problem - the web says - is to exchange the hardware. Since I have a very courteous dealer this will probably be no problem. However, initiating the exchange, picking up the device, installing and setting up the software will cost
me almost one working day. Since I use the Surface for professional purposes and if I am taking in account my daily rates that is easily tripling the price of the Surface.
Yes, I love my Surface Pro.
