Surface Studio 2 continually loses internet connectivity.

My Surface Studio 2 continually (and intermittently) drops internet connectivity. Rebooting solves the problem. My system is current on updates. There doesn't appear to be any obvious trigger to make it lose the connection. It's still connected to the LAN; it just loses the internet. Other devices on the network don't lose internet, just the Surface Studio 2. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi bepositiv!

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're here to help and let's work on this together.

I understand you're having issues with your Surface device. Happy to help and provide more options here. To further isolate the issue please allow us to ask a few questions.

    • What version of Windows is your Surface device running on?
    • Are you connecting it through Wi-fi or LAN? Does it happen on both connection? If you're connecting it through LAN, have you tried changing the ethernet chord? Or move it to another port of the modem?

Most common reason for this issue can be caused by a corrupted or outdated operating system. Please follow suggested troubleshooting steps below:

Run Surface Diagnostics Toolkit and complete task here Fix common Surface problems using the Surface app and Surface Diagnostic Toolkit - Microsoft Support.

Please let us know how it goes. We look forward to hearing from you.

    Greetings,

    RodelioP.
