Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021

The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

    Hi,

    I guess your problem is different from ours. I do not remember a problem with USB port not working.

    Anyway: It seems the BT problem has been resolved on my Surface 6 Pro by using drivers version 15.68.17022.122 on the Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter device.

    If you like to know (from Systeminformation):

    I am using Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043

    BIOS-Version: Microsoft Corporation 235.3732.768

    From Info:

    Edition:Windows 10 Pro

    Version: 21H1

    Build: 19043.1288

    Hi fungame1. I'm sorry to hear that you too are experiencing the issues with Bluetooth connectivity. I am using Windows 10 Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043. The current Bluetooth driver is 'Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. - Bluetooth - 15.68.17021.121'. I'm afraid I didn't need to do anything to make it work; as soon as I did the update on 23 November, Bluetooth again worked. Prior to that I bought and installed a USB Bluetooth adapter from Amazon (Bluetooth 5.0 USB Dongle Adapter, Shinfly Wireless Bluetooth Receiver Supports Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Portable Mini Bluetooth Dongle for PC, Laptop, Blue which came with a Realtek driver. That worked well in the interim. I hope that is of some help.
