Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021

The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

Not sure how much use this is.

    I upgraded my SP7 to Windows 11.

    Works a treat.

Thanks Mike. That is useful to know, thank you, but my SP5 doesn't meet the Windows 11 criteria, so I will have to persist with my workarounds and eventually, probably sooner rather than later, replace my device.

I have been fighting it for months. My favorite time is when bluetooth freezes while you are sharing your screen on a teams or zoom meeting with people around the world. Then you have to open your surface, use the crappy touchpad and reboot, then rejoin your meeting, etc. It's been months - no help or fix. They killed it with an update and now expect me to buy another surface? HA!

well dang. I was looking for something to install to fix it only to be met with this news. I bought my SP5 just over a year ago and I really thought it could do no wrong. Thank you for putting the situation plainly so non-computer people like me can understand. This is insanely frustrating and I hope some changes can be made to make it right.
