I've gotten 36 hours of use of my mouse and keyboard, with 4 hours of continuous use. Sadly, I am now happy if I only have to restart or reattach my BT device every four hours. I used the method described above, which I paraphrase "uninistall both bluetooth AND wifi devices, INCLUDING drivers. Reboot. Make sure your driver is dated 2016. Go into gpedit computer config/administrative templates/windows components/windows update/don't include drivers and enable that so that the next time windows updates it doesn't over-write what you just did."
For those of us angry at Microsoft, I did a little research. They make only about 3% of their revenue from selling NEW Surface 7's (which don't have the Marvell BT chip, btw). They make 0% of their revenue from supporting SP 5's. They don't care. Why should they? I'm just telling everyone I can think of that MS doesn't support their products. Embarassing them won't help, but it may make me feel better.
