Surface Pro 6 update to my earlier post - - based on what some others discovered in this thread, I disconnected and unpaired my speakers and just ran with the Bluetooth mouse on the latest Marvell bluetooth driver (ending in .121). 6 hours and counting, which is about 5 hours and 15+ minutes longer than bluetooth had been running before it dumped both the speakers and the mouse. I'm no expert, but my personal experience shows tells me that latest driver breaks bluetooth if you have an audio device connected.
Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021
The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

2021-08-14T04:10:20+00:00 I am having the same issue with my Windows Pro 1807. I only have a BT keyboard and mouse attached. The BT stops working, and the BT settings don't have a way to turn it back on. The mouse and keyboard are reported as turned off when that is not the case.
I have to reboot to get BT back. Sometimes it lasts for several hours and other times it only lasts 5 minutes.
Drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled, etc.
Microsoft, please patch this!

2021-08-14T00:49:27+00:00 Surface Pro 6, Marvell Bluetooth Driver .121. Same issue - bluetooth began operating erratically after my machine ran updates on the 6th. Bluetooth just stops. I only run a mouse and some bluetooth speakers and never had an issue before the last few days. I opened a case with Microsoft three days ago, they told me to roll back the driver (already did), run the .msi update (already did). I also played with seetting bluetooth audio bridging service to auto, turned off power saving for bluetooth, etc. SO.....Before they could tell me to, I went ahead and did a clean install.
In order to determine if it was firmware or driver, after the clean install I did not update the Surface Pro 6 with any updates at all by keeping it off the internet. The Marvell driver that ships with the current version of the USB Media Creation Tool for a clean install is 15.68.9112.23 and is dated 12/2/2016. Same mouse and speaker ran for two hours straight, no hiccups or issues. SO... Firmware may not be the issue.
I disabled the Vendor Driver Auto Install capability thinking Marvell might have slipped in a sketchy driver through this annoying avenue, crossed my fingers, and enabled the internet and let the Updates go. The Marvell .121 driver installed, machine updated completely with mouse and speakers running fine, and rebooted.
After reboot, mouse and speakers worked fine for 31 minutes, then took a a dump. Same issues. In my mind, anyway, the .121 Marvell Avastar bluetooth driver (which is in the .msi they direct you to as well as in Windows update) is the problem.
