Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021

I may have found a temporary solution to the issue. I worked on my Surface for over 12 hours and the Bluetooth hasn't tripped a single time, none of the BT devices! I did two things:

1. As TrevorFayers said in a previous post, I kept my two mobile phones more than a couple of meters away. I don't know if there is any connection with Bluetooth. But I still tried.
2. I followed the following advice on this forum from August 2018:

I am copy-pasting the solution they proposed over there, but do check out the original link.

Change your driver to be a Microsoft generic driver rather than one from Marvell.

1. Start Device Manager
2. Select your Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter
3. Right-click, then choose Update Driver
4. Choose the second option: Browse my computer for driver software
5. Choose the "Generic Bluetooth Adapter", Next, then Close after it installs.

This did not work immediately after the installation, and showed the same Error 43 for the "Generic Bluetooth Adapter". However, after I restarted the Surface this morning, the BT has been functioning without tripping - neither the devices nor the BT button, for over 12 hours now.

It is not as smooth as the previous Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter, but at least IT IS WORKING!

Please try if it may find some respite for you...

Meanwhile, let's hope MS is seeing this and will get back to us ASAP with a permanent solution!

I would like to thank you for the part about reinstalling Windows as I thought it might be worth the trouble. You have we proven it is not. Sorry you had to endure that but thanks for blazing the path!

Having the same issue, BT cuts off after 5-20 minutes of use -- the BT settings button is gone from the right swipe-in column, the blue on/off switch is missing from the Bluetooth Settings window, and it says "Bluetooth is not turned on" under all the devices.

First started on my Surface Pro 6 same day as y'all (around Aug 5th after the update), was on with MS support all day last Monday (they had me reinstall drivers, then reinstall Windows) -- I thought this fixed it because it was working the next day after being left on all night, but after only 30 minutes of use that morning the BT cut out again (so it seems to only cut out after so many minutes of actual *use*, not just running).

Then I was borrowing my partner's Surface Book 2 all last week, working perfectly fine, then it started acting up the same way yesterday! I ran the troubleshooter on both computer.... same thing happened as OP where it caused BT to stop working, and it gave me Radio Signal error which I fixed following a tutorial on the forums here, but BT would still cut out again after a few minutes.

I sent in a Feedback Hub report on the Pro 6. This is so completely ridiculous to me that Microsoft's FLAGSHIP LAPTOPS are being ruined by this update. Like many of y'all, my workflow relies on BT keyboard and mouse so this has completely upended my productivity (mainly because I've spent hours upon hours over the past week trying to fix the stupid thing!)

I've got the same problem after updating the bluetooth driver (via MS update) with my Surrrrrface Book 2 (13,5 inch model 1832 i7). Can't work this way so hope MS will solve the issue quick!

I just spent the last couple of days troubleshooting this very frustrating issue. I left no stones unturned, have literally tried everything including regeditor and even a fresh windows install. When can we get a resolution from MS?? It blows me away to know this issue has been lingering for over TWO weeks and yet there are no patches deployed by MS. Very disappointing.
