Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021

The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

Code (43) if I remember correctly. I did the one fix where I switched to the Generic Bluetooth Adapter. I think I am on a good roll. Only lost it once in the last half of the day.

What do you mean by opening a complaint. I'm not sure I know about that possibility. This is my first major issue with my microsoft device. Appart from the Hub and this place is there anywhere else we can write to them?

Maybe we need to open a complaint?

I have exactly the same problem here. Driver 15.68.17021.121, same of almost all folks.

It's really disappointing to be abandoned by Microsoft for such a long time. Not even a reply here, leaving all us alone with the bug. That's really sad.

Yes. This same process got me half a day...

I've had to resort to purchase a wireless keyboard and mouse with a USB receiver and I have an HDMI adapter for my external monitor as this issue was completely debilitating and I simply couldn't do my work. To connect more stuff (external drive which I used regularly) I would need a USB hub.

I find it rather unacceptable that no one from Microsoft is even commenting here to tell us that they are on this. This is not just a small issue. Taking into account the limited connectivity available on the Surface tablet, it effectively renders the device unusable as a computer.

Best of luck to you all...
