Thanks GF. No, I don't have a USB dongle. I seem to lose the connection to my mouse more than anything, so I've bought a USB mouse to get me through. There's nothing like a bit of retro-tech is there? Anyway, no response, fix or comment from Microsoft, which is extremely disappointing as this must be affecting many SP5, 6 and 7 users.
Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021
The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

2021-08-13T17:53:03+00:00 Unfortunately I also do not have KB5004331 in my update history.
I've been wondering if anyone has attempted to attached an external usb bluetooth adapter to see if that works? Mostly because I had to go out and buy a keyboard/mouse combo yesterday that connects via dongle and I hate it. Why do they make everything so big these days?? And since it's not true bluetooth, I find it's not as responsive either :-(
Has microsoft even responded to any of these complaints yet? It's been over a week now. This is nuts.

2021-08-12T22:49:09+00:00 We also have customers with this issue after the 5 Aug 2021 firmware upgrade on Surface Pro 5, 6, 7. Bluetooth dropping off after 30 mins and require restart for temporary working.
We tried old Marvell Bluetooth drivers, updating/uninstall Windows updates but none of them helps.
Re-imaged the Surface Pro didn't fix the problem.
Should be caused by the firmware but unfortunately, there has no way to roll back the firmware.
