Hi fungame1. I'm sorry to hear that you too are experiencing the issues with Bluetooth connectivity. I am using Windows 10 Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043. The current Bluetooth driver is 'Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. - Bluetooth - 15.68.17021.121'. I'm afraid I didn't need to do anything to make it work; as soon as I did the update on 23 November, Bluetooth again worked. Prior to that I bought and installed a USB Bluetooth adapter from Amazon (Bluetooth 5.0 USB Dongle Adapter, Shinfly Wireless Bluetooth Receiver Supports Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Portable Mini Bluetooth Dongle for PC, Laptop, Blue which came with a Realtek driver. That worked well in the interim. I hope that is of some help.
Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021
The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

2021-11-12T06:50:32+00:00 I ended up buying a USB adaptor bit so I can have 3 USB ports and a Bluetooth dongle in it which has sorted the problem. Only cost me £25 but the adaptor is a clunky thing attached the side of my surface which I don't like.

2021-09-27T21:15:22+00:00 Well, after two full proper reinstalls (that resetting feature was ****), I've rolled it back to the October 2020 update (20H2). Have paused my updates for the moment, but the machine is glitchy AF in general at this point. I can safely say I'll definitely be looking at an iPad Pro in the future but as I need a full operating system, my next purchase will likely be a nice little Mac mini. I'm hoping they update their next version using the M1 chip to handle more ram, as I'd like to avoid intel chips as well at this point.
That said, when the caca first hit the fan last month, I dug out an old Asus vivobook from 2012 that was running windows 8. And that little machine allowed me to update it to Windows 10 (with the help of some great online tuts) and has been my major workhorse over the last month due to the surface largely being useless. It even has a touchscreen. So a machine from 2012 running a slower, outdated i5 chip and all of 4GB of RAM can run windows 10 including this crappy 21H1 update AND works with all my bluetooth peripherals (ironically, it has 3 USB ports and I need none of them). But my Surface Pro 2017 can't run ANY bluetooth peripherals if I allow the last update. And even likes to just randomly turn itself off now depending on what I'm doing, regardless of what update it has. The Asus cost me around $600 CDN originally (and not only stays on, but also has better battery life than the surface). The Surface Pro cost over $2k CDN after the chip/ram upgrades and peripherals were included.
So yeah. Microsoft can suck it. I'll be dropping a load of cash at Apple sooner rather than later and if I decide I do need another windows machine, rest assured it will be an Asus model since apparently even their lower end basic units will continue working and updating successfully almost a decade later, yet a Microsoft-made machine can't even make it to 5 bloody years without major problems.
Shame on Microsoft, shame on their Surface department, and sionara. I will never purchase another Microsoft-made machine again.

2021-09-23T11:20:20+00:00 Hey Guys,
That's been a depressing journey.
I just spoke to a friend who works in customer care services of an IT company in San Francisco. He said that one thing all IT companies are super wary of are comments on their social media accounts, especially Facebook and Twitter. They act super fast because they don't want any bad-mass-publicity.
Maybe, those of you who have on it accounts (I deleted all my social media profiles unfortunately :/) can copy the issues we discussed here on official Microsoft/Microsoft Surface Accounts on FB/Twitter. There is no harm trying, I guess.
I am sorry, but I don't want to put in so much more money in a new laptop, when apart from the BT everything else seems to still be working fine. I am a student so that's a lot of unwanted cost for me.
Maybe worth a try. We have nothing to lose more (besides our Surfaces)!
Bon courage to all of you suffering this Microsoft's nuisance!

2021-08-10T12:23:26+00:00 Many thanks Brenda and others for their contributions. Very oddly, since turning my Surface on this morning, Bluetooth (BT) has been working for the last 4.5 hours, but, of course, it may fail again at any moment! I think that those with continuing problems, should also put some feedback on the Feedback Hub.
It may be a longshot, but I suspected that the Your Phone' app may have been interfering with BT since the firmware update. Late yesterday, I had an unusual in-app update notification in the 'Your Phone', which I actioned. I say unusual because Your Phone app updates usually come via the Store and this didn't. So, I'm wondering if anyone else is using the Your Phone app and whether actioning the in-app update has changed the BT issue for you.
