I have a SB3 connected to a Surface Dock which has FullHD touch monitor, USB keyboard and mouse connected to it. I have used this setup without any issues for over 2 years with Surface Laptop 1.
With the SB3 the keyboard and mouse 'stutter' meaning characters are lost or autorepeat due to missing down or up codes. Mouse motion ceases then resumes.

I have tried plugging the mouse into one of the SB3 USB ports and get the same result.
I know others have seen this problem. It should be easy to reproduce. Can someone from Microsoft try this please.
This looks to be a level USB message handling problem. Note that the USB is not unloading.

2020-09-14T02:33:47+00:00 Sorry, it was actually a keyboard. It was the logitech G613, which has both Lightspeed (USB dongle) and bluetooth. It was lagging on both methods.
I've installed the update, let's hope it works.
Edit: The update did not fix the issue at all.
It is very easy to reproduce for me, even without the dock. I have a 2gb zipped file on a USB drive. As soon as I start extracting the file onto the USB drive, my mouse and (wired) keyboard lag like mad (almost once a second).

2020-09-16T06:10:55+00:00 I have found the only reliable way to fix that is to shutdown and then power up.
Shutdown not restart.
Man it's still buggy.
