I have a SB3 connected to a Surface Dock which has FullHD touch monitor, USB keyboard and mouse connected to it. I have used this setup without any issues for over 2 years with Surface Laptop 1.
With the SB3 the keyboard and mouse 'stutter' meaning characters are lost or autorepeat due to missing down or up codes. Mouse motion ceases then resumes.
I have a video of the mouse re I continuously move the mouse in a circle

I have tried plugging the mouse into one of the SB3 USB ports and get the same result.
I know others have seen this problem. It should be easy to reproduce. Can someone from Microsoft try this please.
This looks to be a level USB message handling problem. Note that the USB is not unloading.

As someone who wishes they'd have discovered this issue before buying multiple docks to no avail and ending up outside of my return window. I can, with 100% confidence, tell you to just return everything and get a different laptop while you still can.
I have the same issue with the surface dock 2 and surface book 3. I am unable to use a keyboard because it either stops working , or repeats the same letter over and over. Please fix this ms. Just invested thousands in a setup with your hardware and cannot type a simple email.
Just got my refund today, i will never buy anything from Microsoft again terrible after purchase service. cannot believe that they wasn't able to provide a fix sooner
I have had a few small problems that could be general USB Windows issues but no stutter since I bought a BT-500 but it is a workaround and the cause must be resolved by Microsoft.
