I have a SB3 connected to a Surface Dock which has FullHD touch monitor, USB keyboard and mouse connected to it. I have used this setup without any issues for over 2 years with Surface Laptop 1.
With the SB3 the keyboard and mouse 'stutter' meaning characters are lost or autorepeat due to missing down or up codes. Mouse motion ceases then resumes.
I have a video of the mouse re I continuously move the mouse in a circle

I have tried plugging the mouse into one of the SB3 USB ports and get the same result.
I know others have seen this problem. It should be easy to reproduce. Can someone from Microsoft try this please.
This looks to be a level USB message handling problem. Note that the USB is not unloading.

I think we all feel the same. I had to buy a BT keyboard because the BT-500 had to come from the USA. I now have the BT-500 and the SB3 appears to work correctly however the Screen battery only charges to 50% because that is the recommended setting to avoid overheating.
Normally 3rd generation devices have had all the bugs resolved. Not the SB3.
Poor show Microsoft!

This issue continues to plague me. I'm not sure if every keeps checking this thread hoping to see a fix or if they've moved on.
It is positively maddening that it hasn't been addressed yet. Like a sucker, I'm simply learning to live with it instead of throwing my SB3 into the trash. There have been several times where I've deleted or misfiled important emails because my SB3 is registering clicks that are not being made. Or it's backspacing entire paragraphs because the key 'sticks' at the wrong time.
If this isn't fixed soon, I promise I will not buy another MS hardware product and I will make it my mission to advise my friends and family of the same.
