Surface Book 3 - external keyboard and mouse

I have a SB3 connected to a Surface Dock which has FullHD touch monitor, USB keyboard and mouse connected to it.  I have used this setup without any issues for over 2 years with Surface Laptop 1.

With the SB3 the keyboard and mouse 'stutter' meaning characters are lost or autorepeat due to missing down or up codes.  Mouse motion ceases then resumes.

I have tried plugging the mouse into one of the SB3 USB ports and get the same result.  

I know others have seen this problem.  It should be easy to reproduce.  Can someone from Microsoft try this please.

This looks to be a level USB message handling problem. Note that the USB is not unloading.

A fix for this issue is now available through Windows Update. Please review the Surface Book 3 Update History page.

    What Surface Book are you using? Surface Dock v2 I presume?

    I have multiple docks and multiple Surfaces (all brand new. I run my own IT business), and all of them are having this issue.

    Any luck finding a solution. I have a 2500 dollar laptop with 500 dollars worth of Surface Accessories, and I cant use any of them :(

    I have 10 of Surface  Book 3 15s in stock for my clients, and I will have to dump them all, if you dont find a resolution to this problem in the very near future. 

    You get bugs with Apple laptops here and there, but Microsoft is just extra special in this regard. Border line impossible to use my Surface Book with external monitor and USB devices. Going through Dock 2 I get USB disconnects every few seconds. I tried 3 different surface book 3s. 2 different docks. Latest firmware and patches.

    COME ON MICROSOFT!!! What da hell is this?

    I had a situation where I needed to reboot the SB3 because some USB devices weren't behaving correctly after recovering for sleep.  Not sure if this was related to the problem or not.

    I still haven't received the BT-500 yet, USPS have taken a week to get it to San Francisco let alone a flight to UK.

    Status update from MS would be nice.

    Hi Eddy is there any update on this? I would like to know what Microsoft is doing to resolve this for everyone in this thread + hundreds/thousands of others that are probably experiencing this issue.
