I have a SB3 connected to a Surface Dock which has FullHD touch monitor, USB keyboard and mouse connected to it. I have used this setup without any issues for over 2 years with Surface Laptop 1.
With the SB3 the keyboard and mouse 'stutter' meaning characters are lost or autorepeat due to missing down or up codes. Mouse motion ceases then resumes.
I have a video of the mouse re I continuously move the mouse in a circle

I have tried plugging the mouse into one of the SB3 USB ports and get the same result.
I know others have seen this problem. It should be easy to reproduce. Can someone from Microsoft try this please.
This looks to be a level USB message handling problem. Note that the USB is not unloading.

Thanks for the info. I am installing the new drivers. Let's cross our fingers.
[Update] The new drivers seem a solution.
[Update] No, the problem is back. This is a sentence I got "My SB3 isssssssssssssssssss" after 10-min typing.
Looks like updated drivers have been posted today:

That's weird, I've never had a problem with the built in keyboard, but then again, I've never used it while also using a mouse and/or monitor.
I purchased the standard MS bluetooth keyboard the other day, and other than it sometimes missing the first keystroke after not using it for an extended period (maybe BT keyboards have a sleep mode?), I have not had any issues with it. Additionally, although I not changed my mouse, it no longer appears to be stuttering either; maybe the non-bluetooth input devices were interfering with one another somehow?
Anyways, let's just hope they fix this soon, cuz I hate this keyboard, and I'm not so sure that it won't start having the same problems within a few days anyway....
