Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.
I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.
Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so
Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?
I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.

Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.
Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

2022-06-03T07:49:49+00:00 Just to list the steps I have tried which didn't solve the problem:
- Create a recovery USB and recover from a drive (with and without keeping my files)
- Using the "Startup Repair" option from the recovery drive
- Via Command Line from recovery drive: Using bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, bootrec /rebuildbcd
- Via Command Line from recovery drive: Deleting the created system EFI partition, and recreating it with create partition efi size=100 and bcdboot C:\Windows /s S: /f ALL
- Erasing the surface using the data eraser tool (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/microsoft-surface-data-eraser), and re-installing windows using the recovery drive
- Changing the boot order in the BIOS (having each of the options "Internal Storage", "Windows Boot Manager" and "USB Storage" on top once)
If anyone has ANYTHING else I could try I would be happy to do so

2022-06-02T18:56:26+00:00 Same problem here, I installed an update last weekend, and keep getting "No bootable device" since then. I tried all possible recovery precedures, no luck. Surface Go, UEFI 1.0.34. MS seems to have messed it up quite a bit. I really hope my Surface will come back to life.

2022-06-02T12:34:12+00:00 Same issue. Bricked around 2 weeks ago. Got to try recovery last weekend only no luck. Same screenshot ufei with nothing top right. Date very close to last update.
Almost certain this is MS issue
