Surface Go uefi version is 1.0.34 and No Bootable Device error

Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.

I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.

Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so

Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?

I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.

I have also lodged a complaint here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoftfeedback

Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.

Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

Just contacted Microsoft with this problem, refering to this forum.

    Got this as answer:

"I understand. I'll raise this to our higher level of support and see if they can offer the same for your device. I will do my best"

They could not use the case nummer of Bronwen Zande because it had been done by telephone so refer to this forum.

Will get an answer i nthe next 24 to 72 h

    Hello people,

Microsoft support just called me saying that they realized that the issue was caused by them, so they told that they will replace the surface without any costs. Hopefuly this reaches to an end.

That sounds positive ... is there a case number you can share the rest of us can refer to?

We have sold dozens of these devices to customers, and after an update, all of them no longer work.

Microsoft cannot be reached, no telephone number, no email, only an online solution that runs in a loop that you can do nothing with. This is really ridiculous that such a big company is choking its customers.

After 2 months still no solution and not even an answer!
