Surface Go uefi version is 1.0.34 and No Bootable Device error

Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.

I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.

Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so

Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?

I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.

I have also lodged a complaint here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoftfeedback

Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.

Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

I have just clicked the link to the newly published help guide for the unfortunate no bootable device brigade and from what I can tell it suggest what I tried to do prior to complaining and successfully getting a replacement tablet. There is no mention of a link or guide to this next step it just seems designed to keep you in a loop under the guise of being o so helpful, which is probably only there for them to cover msoft in some consumer legal way. My advice is try and get onto chat and get a replacement.

I am still waiting for warranty info for the replacement? Maybe they do not have any as they are refurbished????

    Hi

I agree there is a distinct lack of personalised customer service from msoft. It is one size fits all.

Does anyone know what the warranty is for the replacement tablets , refurbished or not there must be a new warranty in place ? Again msoft and a lack of customer service makes dealing with this issue like wading through thick mud.
