This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.
I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.
Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so
Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?
I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.
I have also lodged a complaint here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoftfeedback
Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.
Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

I'm really sorry that you haven't got very far with Microsoft. My Surface was also out of warranty.
I would ask you a couple of questions which might help.
Firstly, have you followed the steps in the post by MaSD# above ? You need to get to the correct Microsoft support teams by following the instructions exactly.
If you go to any other section of support, it seems that the response you received is the common one when people go through "technical support", rather than via the "hardware issue" as directed.
Secondly, Microsoft themselves have acknowledged the issue ( see the "chat" post above). Does your device now show the Uefi version 1.0.34 ? If it does, and If you tell them that the problem started back in early summer in tandem with the rollout of the update, there is no reason why you should not progress with the replacement.
Don't give up on this one. Try again with the above MaSD# system. I know iit's all a bit of a trial, but you have invested good cash in Microsoft products, and they need to look after their customers.
Good luck, and do let others know how you proceed.
I've also had success today through Microsoft support chat to get my machine replaced. Follow the instructions and you should get the same experience!
Tengo el mismo problema.
No bootable device
He instalado otra vez windows, tambien recuperación.
