Surface Pro 3 is throttling CPU while playing games. I have confirmed this while attempting to play diablo 3 which runs fine at first, until the temperature get to a certain degree and fps start to drop. Not the only one experiencing this issue so please fix through a firmware upgrade to bring back "high performance" profile like my surface 1. Thanks

Oh they definitely do. I hate intel display power saving technology because it washes out colors, but you can't access the intel graphics control panel on stock Surface drivers. You actually can't even install generic intel graphics drivers, the install will fail and it will tell you to get drivers from your manufacturer. To use the standard intel graphics drivers from their website you have to disable automatic install of automatic updates, uninstall and delete the current intel graphics driver, reboot and install the normal intel one. Then when you go to automatic updates, the latest firmware update will show up as being available for download as it wants to replace your graphics driver. I then hide it so I don't have to deal with it until the next one is released. That way I get the newest drivers and the ability to control it from the intel graphics control panel.
