Repeated Daily Crashes of Desktop Window Manager in Reliability Monitor When Using Pen

Hi everybody, I have the exact same problem.
I even replaced my Surface with another one via telephonic assistance, to find that even this new unit has the same problem. 

By my experience, I can tell  that the problem presents only when the Surface is connected via AC plug; running on battery gives me almost no problems.

The only times when I have problems of black screens and HeatCore.dll errors even on battery is when I'm showing my screen on a video call, no matter the software I'm using (MS Teams, Google Meet, Zoom...): if I use the pen in this particular setup, sooner or later I'll get a black screen (again, also in this situation, running on battery reduces the crashes).

Hope to help someone with my experience and hoping even harder in a solution by Microsoft (seriously Microsoft, I don't want to use an overpriced iPad to write my notes for University)

I thought so. I really can't be bothered reinstalling  windows 10....!!!!

He did mention to uninstall a specific patch that is causing this issue...but I am not going to bother because who knows if that will fix it as well.

I am still waiting for the fix updates from Microsoft...absolutely pathetic!

Don't do that, that is absolutely useless! I wanted several hours on a clean install using the recovery image and issue persisted. 0/10 not worth the effort.

Ask your brother to take a closer look instead, that advice was so generic it could have come from Microsoft support.

How useless. I find that my crashes happen more at night time???

My brother who is an IT tech suggested a cleanup of my computer...to reinstall windows ...which I am not sure will fix it due to the updates that you just mentioned!

There were a bunch of driver and firmware updates in Windows Update today. They did NOT fix this, it is super annoying at this point to see Microsoft push out updates which don't actually fix the issue.
