Hi,
I'm very satisfied with my original Surface RT, and constantly surprised by what it can do. I'm even considering giving away my laptop because I rarely use it these days.
However, one concern I have is network maintenance/troubleshooting. I can access the router's web interface through the wireless network, but for serious work, there's no substitute for a good wired connection. Unfortunately the Surface doesn't have an Ethernet
port.
This is the only reason I'd hold onto the laptop at this point.
I checked the Windows Compatibility site, and couldn't find any USB to Ethernet adapters that were compatible with Windows RT. But I know from experience that you can still sometimes get lucky.
Has anyone found an adapter that works with the Surface RT? I've seen references to an adapter made for the Surface - does it works with RT, or is only for the Surface Pro?
