Surface Book 2 battery drain whilst off

I feel like if this was more normal, alot more people would be complaining and there would be recalls. I just reset under my own say so. It's only been a few days so I'll let you know if the issue returns.

Hi, I'd like to add that I recently got the Surface Book 2 a few weeks ago (heavily discounted off of their website) and I love the machine. The battery drain is terrible while off. I had to leave for 3 days and I left it in my room from 100% battery down to 80% battery in just 3 days of it being off. It was funny because when I first got it, both batteries were completely drained. 

It's been a few more weeks since your last post. Have you noticed if it helped or not? Thanks :) 

Battery drain issues are still gone. A reset may not work for everyone but it worked for me thankfully.

I also did a reinstallation of windows just last month. The battery stopped draining for only two nights.. it did not work.

There are rumours about SB3 already.. so I think a fix for SB2 is highly unlikely unless they care.

This sounds like the best thing I may have ever heard.  Nearly too good to be true, which makes me skeptical being that over December/January I spoke with Microsoft tech(s) and did what I thought was a fresh re-install and so forth and I still get battery drain of 3-4%.  I checked in with MS on battery reports, info, emails, etc... and was finally told it was not a battery issue but that this is normal for SB2. I guess what I'm wondering is what recently occurred (update, fix,etc...) that stops drain now? Do you go standby rather than shut down?  Who or where advised you to do a Windows reinstall?  And finally, how long have you been without drain?  Please, please get back to me/us I am sure many would like to know.
