Hi,
my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.
I would appreciate to get this working again.
Thx,
Bernd

Hello, I had the same problem with a 5700 series samsung tv. It used to work with the surface pro 2 and after a tv firmware update it stopped.
I just updated the tv firmware from version 1118 to version 2012 and was able to stream my SP3 again. Hope this helps.
Finally some positive news on this issue. I will check if this update is available for my TV and report back. This is a good sign either way.
As I suspected, my TV is on 1114, which only appeared as an update a couple of days ago. It won't detect anything more recent at the moment. I'm a long way from 1118, let alone 2012.
