Hi,
my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.
I would appreciate to get this working again.
Thx,
Bernd

flodE365,
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that it is now working.
I can confirm this.
Surface 3 Pro running Windows 10 version 1511 is connecting to my Samsung TV finally.

Nice - confirmed on 2 different Pro 3's with the latest firmware and 1511. However, resolution stinks - 1024X768? Connecting with the Microsoft Wireless adpater, get a full 1080, so this low res is virtually useless.

I confirm too. It's working in my Samsung UE40H6200
Great job Microsoft for the update!!
Thanks!
Also works onUE48H6670
Really pleased although it makes me wonder why Microsoft had not enabled this functionality before. Maybe they just wanted to sell more Miracast adapters that are not actually needed?
Doesn't work on un55f7100
