Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV

Hi,

my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.

I would appreciate to get this working again.

    can you confirm that you have the latest firmware for you TV and provide a link

    to their firmware download page for the model you have? if it is the latest

    firmware, can you provide the date of this firmware please?

    I forget which model Series 7 you have. I did some checking this morning and found things like:

    http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE55HU7200UXXU May 2015 firmware

    So I'm definitely interested in what model you have, what firmware and if there is any newer firmware available.

    Hi All,

    I appreciate you all taking the time to share your experiences and suggested solutions.  It was mentioned earlier in this thread but I want to bring it back into the conversation...  Surface devices are built to the Miracast standards as outlined by the IEEE committee.  Please check your display/TV manufacturer's website for wireless compatibility with your display/TV.

    Hi All,

    i have the same problem here. I just bought an SP3 and it do not work with my Samsung tv.

    Its really annoying because my old HP Elitepad 901, my Lumia 930 and a HP Envy works without a problem.

    For me it is too easy to say that Samsung has to do his Job. I think there is no "black and White" and i assume that Microsoft can handle the Problem with an easy Driver update. But, Microsoft typical,  they ignore the interests of their customer
