the hotfix is now obsolete. the firmware/driver package released yesterday has newer drivers - the video included in that is v10.18.14.4170
but this does not fix the Samsung issue.

Hi,
my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.
I would appreciate to get this working again.
Thx,
Bernd

Yes, they are aware. When or if they will or can fix is something I have no information on.

SP3 sees it, stalls at connecting. TV shows WPS pin to input. both timeout after a couple minutes.
I was originally able to connect from the miniDP on the SP3 with an adapter (miniDP to HDMI), but the 5/19 firmware update broke that too.
This is now an unfortunately expensive paperweight for me.
