Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV

Hi,

my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.

I would appreciate to get this working again.

Thx,

Bernd

    Thanks Barb,

    yes, miracast/screenmirroring (charms, devices, project).

with "getting it working again" i meant it did work on Surface Pro 1 and not on Surface Pro 3.

Also I did delete the wifi/miracast profiles on both the TV as well as the Surface Pro 3.

    Thanks for that try though.

There was another thread this week with a similar issue and she fixed it by

deleting all wireless profiles on her computer and configuring them again. For

    info on deleting profiles, see

I don't know if this will fix your issue, but it is worth trying.
