Hi,
my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.
I would appreciate to get this working again.

The video card in the Surface Pro 3 is under-powered and doesn't put out enough juice for anything larger than a 19" display. Anything bigger than that will fail to connect entirely, or it will connect briefly but you'll have constant screen-freezes and drop-outs on the larger screen.
Can someone please provide me with some advice on the issue, as I too cannot connect to my TV.
It may be I've missed something out, if someone can provide step by step instructions that would be massively appreciated, so I can rule out any mistakes!
Gave air server a shot, timed out, same as the native connection =/

Tried the same on my UE40H6400. No such luck, unfortunately.
Follow-up to previous message: i could my windows 10 surpro 3 also connect now with my 75 inch Samsung UE75F8090. this samsung is an UHD TV and the surpro now automatically sets screen resolution to 1920x1080 and thus it works at proper speed and the handshake works too. btw to make it work after windows 10 upgrade i had to delete the TV as known device and re-add it.
so i am happy to have finally a solution.
