Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV

Hi,

my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.

I would appreciate to get this working again.

Thx,

Bernd

I have the same problem, except with my SURFACE 2.

The TV is a Samsung UN55H7150 -  Brand New.

The WPS screen showed up and I added the code to the surface.   Now, it just sits there with the 'Connecting to SURFACE 2' message on the screen, and then eventually times out.

Both Surface 2 and TV are on their latest firmwares / updates.

Same issue here as well.  Surface Pro 3 + Samsung UN40H5203AF.  My Surface sees the TV, and attempts to make a connection - I can see "Connecting to <COMPUTER_NAME> on the screen of my TV and then it just times out.

I've got the same issue. SP3 and Samsung H6400.

Will try Airserver tomorrow, have used it before. Doesn't explain why HTC phone and Nexus work perfectly with the Samsung but SP3 doesn't.
