Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV
Hi,
my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.
I would appreciate to get this working again.
Thx,
Bernd

2015-02-07T17:55:19+00:00 Any updates on this issue?? The MS adapter has reached the retail shelfs in Sweden, should one buy it or wait for software updates? My Tv is a Samsung UHD.
Where have you seen this in Sweden?

2015-02-07T17:31:37+00:00 Today my Surface suddenly asked for WPS pin when I tried to connect to my Samsung TV. Jesus, what is this? Is this a fault or can I actually obtain this pin somewhere?
I noticed that I cannot miracast my SP3 to the TV or the WD TV live if I am connected on my 5 GHz network. If I change to 2.4 GHz it works with my WD but huge issues with Samsung TV.
No clue what this means, just an observation.

2015-02-05T15:46:19+00:00 I'd bite the bullet and buy the adapter.
Don't buy! It's their job to fix it, in SP3 despcrition it's writted miracastable so they have to fix it!
