Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV

Hi,

my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.

I would appreciate to get this working again.

    got some tips from a german surface mvp.

    Latest update from 31.01.2017 improves some mircast things.

    January 30 release

    Not working on my UN65HU8550 with my Surface Pro 3.  They try to connect but it fails after the TV shows "Loading" for a moment...

    Please help!

    Also works onUE48H6670

    Really pleased although it makes me wonder why Microsoft had not enabled this functionality before. Maybe they just wanted to sell more Miracast adapters that are not actually needed?
